GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Article 1 – Definitions

  • Taxi LV: User of these terms and conditions, established in The Hague (KvK 74853759).
  • Customer: Natural or legal person who books a ride or for whom a ride is booked.
  • Driver: Executor of the ride, drives at own risk and costs.
  • Agreement: Agreements regarding passenger transport to which these conditions apply.
  • Ride: The transportation service including boarding and disembarking.
  • Reservation: The booked ride via app, telephone or website.
  • Taxi: Vehicle or bicycle taxi used for the ride.
  • Website: www.taxilv.nl
  • Written: Both by letter and by e-mail.

 

Article 2 – Applicability

  • These terms and conditions apply to all offers and travel agreements.
  • Deviations are only valid if they have been agreed in writing.
  • The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the remainder.

 

Article 3 – Offer & Agreement

  • Offers are without obligation and subject to availability.
  • A reservation is only binding after confirmation.
  • Bicycle taxis must be booked at least 1 hours in advance.

 

Article 4 – Cancellation

  • You can cancel free of charge up to4 hours before the ride via the link in the confirmation email.
  • If you cancel later, there will be no refund.
  • Rescheduling a trip within 3 hours is only possible in consultation with the driver.

 

Article 5 – Customer obligations

  • Customer provides correct pick-up and drop-off location.
  • Be ready on time, wear seat belts, do not smoke or cause a nuisance.
  • No weapons, drugs or dangerous substances.
  • Animals are allowed provided they are transported safely and do not cause a nuisance. Assistance dogs are always allowed.
  • In case of violation, the driver may refuse transport.

 

Article 6 – Lost and found

  • Found items are reported and kept.
  • After 3 months, Taxi LV may sell the object.
  • Return fees may apply.

 

Article 7 – Force Majeure

  • In case of force majeure (e.g. sick drivers, strikes), Taxi LV  may cancel the ride without compensation.

 

Article 8 – Suspension & Termination

  • In the event of non-payment, bankruptcy or other circumstances, the agreement may be terminated immediately.
  • Damage due to termination will be borne by the customer.

 

Article 9 – Payment

  • Payment preferably in cash and exact amount.
  • For deferred payment: within 30 days by bank.
  • In case of late payment, statutory interest and collection costs will be charged.

 

Article 10 – Liability

  • Taxi LV  is an intermediary, not a carrier.
  • Driver is liable for damage unless there is force majeure.
  • Customer is liable for damage caused by own actions.

 

Article 11 – Privacy

  • Customer data is treated confidentially.
  • Data is only shared with the driver if necessary for the journey.
  • No data will be provided to third parties without permission.

 

Article 12 – Complaints

  • Submit complaints by email or using the form on the website.
  • Response within 14 days.
  • Unresolved disputes can be submitted via the ODR platform.

 

Article 13 – Final provisions

  • Dutch law applies.
  • Disputes will first be resolved mutually.
  • Only the court in The Hague has jurisdiction.
  • In the event of changes to these terms and conditions for current services, a period of 30 days applies.

 

Article 14 – No-Show

  • If the customer is absent from the agreed location without cancellation, this is considered a “No-Show”.
  • In that case, the full fare is due and no refund is possible.
